10月29日，智梦团队向美国前50名的大学和前50名的文理学院发出100封邮件，询问关于此次亚太地区SAT延迟出分是否会影响学生提前批次的申请。以下是截止到10月31日，智梦收到大学的邮件回复汇总，希望给现在不知所措的学生和家长一些帮助。

除了斯坦福、佩伯代因大学和布兰戴斯大学几乎已经明确表示不接受亚太地区10月SAT延迟成绩以外，大部分学校表示，此次SAT延迟出分不会对学生的申请有影响。大部分学校在回复中都提到，他们对现在的情况表示理解，延迟出分不是学生的错。这其中，编者根据学校邮件回复的措辞又将大学分为三类：一类是在邮件中语气非常肯定，用到“保证（assure）、没问题（not a problem）”等词语，明确表示不会受影响的，这类学校占大多数；第二类是以普林斯顿、约翰霍普金斯为代表的学校，他们态度积极，说会“尽最大努力（do our best/work very hard）”进行协调。这类学校回复态度比较谨慎，编者的感觉是，他们还在内部协调应对策略，初步判断这两所学校应该不会有太大影响。第三类是以埃默里、罗切斯特大学、威廉玛丽学院、戴维森学院为代表，在邮件中用到“不能保证(cannotguarantee)”、“建议(suggest)”等词汇，这几所学校表示可以11月中旬出分之后可以再补寄，但是因为招生委员会审核可能即刻开始，所以不能保证迟到的分数会被审核。

以下是智梦团队根据大学邮件回复进行的阶段性信息汇总。考虑到每个学校的应对政策可能会有微调，所以以下信息在接下来几日可能会有变化，同时我们还在等待/追踪尚未收到回复的学校邮件，近几日智梦教育会为大家更新最新动态。如果读者对个别大学的回复有疑义，欢迎与我们联系，具体联系方式请参见文章最下方的微信名片。

智梦目前给学员的整体建议是：

1. “如果同学申请ED的这个大学没有ED2的选择，那么不要浪费这次机会，还是建议冲刺一下！就如古时三国时期的乱世，就似今日。王侯将相宁有种乎？ED本来就是给大家去和目标冲刺的，我认为值得尝试；同理，如果这个大学是有ED2的，那我们就可以再商讨一下。 ”——海超

2. 具体执行上的应对策略可以参照Amherst College给出的参考意见进行，即：

1) 尽快给招生办公室发邮件说明自己的SAT成绩被延迟的情况，抬头写”ED October SAT Score Delay”

2) 出分后第一时间以传真或者扫描文件的形式将电子版成绩单发送至招生办公室邮箱。抬头写”ED October SAT Test Scores”

3) 对于必须要求纸质版成绩的学校，出分后第一时间进行纸质提交，下面的列表中已经标出一些学校的截止日期。

第一类：已经明确表示提前批次申请（ED&EA）不会受到此次SAT延迟出分影响的学校：

*需要注意的几点：

1. 在这些学校中，瓦萨学院(Vassar)、鲍登学院(Bowdoin)和巴纳德学院(Barnard College)明确提到需要在正式成绩出来之前必须先提交电子版本。

2. 卡耐基梅隆(CMU)提到学校需要完整的材料才开始审核，他们接受迟到的分数，但是录取结果可能会相应延迟。

3. 克莱蒙特麦肯纳学院（CMC）明确提到，如果正式分数在12月1日后寄到招生办公室，录取结果在12.15后揭晓。

4. 哈维玛德学院（HMC）明确提到SAT成绩在11.15当日及之前出分都没有问题，但是如果是11.15之后出分，那么就需要把学生的申请从ED1延迟到ED2。

第二类：态度积极，用词严谨，初步判断应该不会有太大影响的学校：

1. 普林斯顿(PrincetonUniversity)

“Thank you for your email. If you would liketo apply early, you may do so. It is up to you whether you take the Novembertest date. We are working with the College Board to obtain the scores assoon as possible. We are monitoring the situation daily and are hopeful thatall scores for impacted students will be received in time. We know that thatCollege Board is working to process the tests as quickly as possible. I canassure you thatwe work very hard to give everyconsideration to studentsin our admission process--we are well aware that these delays are no fault ofyour own. Thank you for writing.”

2. 约翰霍普金斯(Johns Hopkins University)

“Thankyou for your e-mail. We understand your concern regarding your October SATscores. The College Board contacted colleges and universities to indicate thatmost of the October SAT scores from China and Korea will be delayed and sent tous in mid-November, so we are already aware of the issue. For Early Decisionapplicants to Johns Hopkins who have been affected by this delay, we will do ourbestto wait for the Octoberscores to arrive before we review your application.”

第三类：鼓励提交延迟的SAT成绩，但是不保证迟到的分数会被审核：

1. 埃默里(Emory University)

“Asstated on our Standardized Exam Policies webpage (http://apply.emory.edu/apply/exam.php), Emory University requires that applicants need to complete and request theirtest scores be sent directly from the testing agencies prior to our statedapplication deadlines (EDI: November 1; Scholars Program: November 15; EDII:January 1; RD: January 1). Scores may arrive in our office after theapplication deadline but must be completed and requested in advance.

Forstudents applying Early Decision I, one must complete their required exams andrequesting the testing agency send those scores directly to Emory Universityprior to the November 1 deadline. This means that for exams taken at the end ofOctober, students will need to request the scores be sent before they have thechance to review the scores and determine whether they want them sent. We are unable toguarantee that test scores sent after the application deadline will arrivebefore the Admissions Committee evaluation.”

2. 罗切斯特大学(University of Rochester)

“You maystill submit these scores. However, there is no guarantee that they will be reviewed withyour application because they will be late.”

3. 威廉玛丽学院(College of William and Mary)

“Early Decision is a binding decisionprocess appropriate for students who have identified William & Mary as afirst choice and are prepared to make a binding commitment to enroll ifadmitted. Application materials for early decision candidates must besubmitted by November 1. Test scores should be received by November 1 or shortly thereafter. Admissiondecision letters are issued by early December.

By applying Early Decision, an applicant is makinga commitment to enroll at the College the following fall if he or she isadmitted. A student applying through Early Decision to the College ofWilliam & Mary may still apply to other schools. However, a studentmay only apply to one school through a binding early decision process.

While the scores do come in electronically, thescores from October will be coming in late. That beingsaid, theywill be added electronically as soon as they come in. They will be considered if they come induring the review period. If we alreadyhave test scores on file for the applicant, these will be added electronicallyto the others when they do come in.

If we do not have test scores by the time of review later in November, the file cannotbe read and will be deferred to Regular Decision.

Therefore, unfortunately, it just depends on when the scoresarrive.”

说明：学校在上述邮件中提到，取决于材料什么时候寄送到学校。如果材料是在审核期内寄送到（11月下旬laterNovember），是没有问题的，如果在11月下旬还没有收到，ED就会被延迟到RD。

4. 戴维森学院(Davison College)

“As youknow our Early Decision I deadline is November 15. I can’t guarantee you thatwe will get your scores before the counselor start reading the applications.I would suggest if you want to be considered for EarlyDecision I, if you have previous scores, send those to us and when the mostrecent scores are sent we will add them to your file.”

说明：不能保证会等到10月SAT成绩单寄送过来之后开始审核。如果学生是想申请ED1，建议先把之前的SAT成绩单寄送过来。等到最新的SAT成绩出来之后，学校会把这个最新的成绩放入到学生的申请材料里。言外之意是，在10月SAT出分前，审核可能已经开始。而这主要依据于之前的SAT成绩。

第四类：已经明确表态/几乎已经明确表态不接收延迟送分的学校有：

1. 斯坦福大学Stanford University

“It isunlikely that scores released on November 15 will be included in the EarlyAction evaluation. If you have an older set of scores, please send them immediately,in order to fulfill the requirement. If you believe that the November scorescould be very relevant, maybe you should consider applying Regular Decision.”

2. 佩伯代因大学Pepperdine University

“Thedeadline to apply for Spring 2015 is November 1, 2014. Test scores must be inour office by this date. Unfortunately, if they are late, we cannot guaranteethat your application will be reviewed. We understand that some situations maybe beyond your control. However, please understand that our deadlines are set.”

3. 布兰代斯大学Brandeis University

“We require all applicantsto submit applications by our deadline dates.

They are listed below.

If you are unable to submit test scores by our EarlyDecision I deadline you can apply for our Early Decision II deadline. Itis a later date and follows our guidelines to submit a Early Decision agreementform.”

智梦学员收到的另一封布兰戴斯邮件回复中，学校提到会有一周的恩典期(grade period), 即在11.8之前需要提交掉SAT成绩。但是如果是11.15才出分的话，这个恩典期几乎等于无效了。

第五类：其它

4. 格林奈尔学院Grinnell College

“If youare applying through Early Decision 1 (deadline: November 15th), your scoremight not reach us before the deadline. The admission committee startsmaking ED1 decisions no later than December 1st, so if they get to your file and it isincomplete, you will be denied. It is up to you to decide if you are willing totake that risk.”

说明：是比较有风险的学校，学校在邮件里说，学校的ED1会在12.1之前作出录取决定。在那之前，如果学校发现你的材料是不完整的话，那么你会直接被拒。到底是否愿意承担这样的风险取决于你。

5. 惠特曼学院Whitman College

“If you areapply in Early Decision I, wemight be able to get the October scores in time... if not, we canalways roll you to Early Decision II. I don't think the November SATs scoreswill arrive in time for either Early Decision application. Please let me knowif you have any other questions.”

说明：说得比较模糊，学校对SAT出分时间比较乐观。

6. 麦克莱斯特学院Maclester College

“If youare applying for regular decision the deadline for application materials isJanuary 15, 2015. There is no worry about the lateness of SAT scores if that isthe case. They will definitely arrive intime for that decision period. The sameholds true for early decision II. Theonly concern would be that if you decide to apply for early decision I, they mightarrive late.”

说明：不置可否，只是说会晚，但是没有提到延迟提交到底会不会有影响。
